We have a range of spaces available for use by wellbeing providers. Give your business and your clients the boost they need to make positive changes, by making the Live Well Centre your home. By working together, we can do great things for people, for business, and for the future of Middlesbrough.

We offer a range of flexible packages for hiring our rooms, depending on your business and client needs. All our clinics are compliant with statutory and regulatory standards for healthcare, so you can relax knowing that our building is designed with a high quality offer in mind.

Options for you and your business

Clinic rooms

Number available: 7

Description:

Our clinical rooms are designed to healthcare specification. They are a minimum of 17m2 and designed to accommodate up to five people.

They include: mediplinth couch; desk and chairs; sink; drugs cabinet and fridge; storage; foldable medical curtains; dimmable lighting for therapies; a range of medical consumables.

All fabrics and materials are healthcare compliant.

Rooms are suitable for clinical assessment/screening, diagnostics, or for businesses which specialise in complementary treatments, such as massage, counselling, and more.

All of our clinics are fully access controlled, with an in-built staff attack system.

Our Fourth Floor baby/family clinic is an ideal site for health and development checks. It provides easy town centre access for families, and allows professionals free use of healthcare specification weighing scales and height measurement tools.

The Live Well Centre provides a staffed reception, waiting area, disabled toilets, telephone, data points, and Wi-Fi.

Rooms can be booked by the hour, for half days or full days. Discounts can be given for block bookings.

Consultation rooms

Description:

All our consultation rooms are completed to a high specification and are DDA compliant. They can accommodate up to five people (six in the family consultation room), and are comfortable, confidential, and spacious.

Situated in a state-of-the-art health environment, consultation rooms can be booked for client assessments, and a wide range of support and therapeutic services.

We have optional layouts to support individual and family counselling, as well as interviewing and 1:1 consultations.

Facilities include: round table and chairs; desk/workstation; telephone and data points; free WiFi; assistance alert/panic buttons; access to controlled staff room.

Our family consultation room is located on the Fourth Floor, in an access-controlled area, with neighbouring clinic room, and arts and craft family area. This room includes toys and books to keep the little ones entertained.

Additional services can be added to your room booking including reception, administrative support, and flip charts.

The Live Well Centre provides a waiting area, disabled toilets, and Wi-Fi access.

Gym and studio

Number available: 2

Description:

A full size community gym, with a diverse range of cardio, resistance, and weight equipment. There is also a studio with a wide range of hireable fitness equipment, and/or conferencing facilities.

The large gym space (315m2) has an inbuilt sound system, and access to 1:1 induction/consultation room and refreshment area. Shower facilities available.

Our studio space (68m2) has an inbuilt sound system, floor to ceiling mirror, and hireable equipment to support a range of physical activity sessions of groups up to 16 people. This space can also be transformed into conferencing facilities for up to 45 people with a range of room configurations and scroll-down projector.

Our gym and studio are located on the same floor as our training kitchen, making this an ideal space for you to combine nutrition and physical activity advice under one roof – a unique offer for the town centre!

Training kitchen

Description:

Our large state-of-the-art training kitchen (58m2) is the only one of its kind in the area, and can accommodate up to 14 people.

It comes complete with a wide range of equipment for all ages and abilities, including dementia friendly, child friendly, and visually impaired cooking utensils.

There are a number of hobs and ovens, integrated fridges, storage, seating area, hand hygiene and food prep sink, and dishwasher.

Looking for an alternative setting for a therapy group, training programme, or breakfast club? Why not use our training kitchen and provide a relaxed, informal atmosphere for your clients over tea and coffee.

‘Cooking skills’, ‘cooking on a budget’ or simple ‘cook and eat’ sessions are ideal ways of getting the people of Middlesbrough together to learn and enjoy cooking simple, healthy meals. Don’t just sit in a classroom talking about cooking – get cooking together!

Meeting and training rooms

Description:

The Live Well Centre has some fantastic training, meeting, and conference facilities. All our training rooms come with AV facilities, free WiFi, and flip chart paper.

Whether you need space by the hour, half day, full day or a more semi-permanent booking, the Live Well Centre rooms offer 10 variable layouts, and can cater for 5 to 48 guests.

The Live Well Centre also provides a staffed reception, waiting area, disabled toilets, and WiFi access.

Family area

Number available: 3

Description:

Large family clinic located on the 4th floor in an access-controlled family space, with independent neighbouring group and consultation rooms.

The family area is an ideal site for health and development checks, and can be used for:
baby clinics
family interview space (perfect if adults are struggling with childcare – children can relax with a selection of books and toys while parents access the services)
arts and crafts and messy play (great for start-up services looking to recruit new clients)
group activities.

The self-contained space has been designed to enable families to be seen together all under one roof, and our town centre location provides easy access.

Professionals can make use of healthcare specification weighing scales and height measurement tools.

Through our ‘Collaborate Well’ offer, we’re building a provider-base which will put providers in touch with each other, helping them to work better together to deliver services, and do things differently. Some of our suggested opportunities for collaborating include: parent-toddler sessions running alongside baby clinics, kids craft sessions being delivered alongside parenting programmes, and maternal stop smoking clinics alongside antenatal classes.

Hot-desking space

Description:

The Live Well Centre has fully serviced hot-desk facilities in an access-controlled, collaborative working environment. Our newly refurbished office space includes height-adjustable desks, lockers, shared meeting room, and a break-out area.

Whether you need a town centre location for a day, week, month or year, we’ve got a range of easy-in, easy-out hot-desk hiring options.

You can take advantage of the fantastic features and benefits this building offers, including free gym access, concessionary room hire space, kitchen access, free meeting room hire, free resource hire, and active working options, as well as the opportunity to work alongside like-minded professionals. Plus, free WiFi access is available throughout the building.

Our aim is to bring together a wide range of professionals in a multi-agency town centre setting.
